Blessings in a Simple Life
There are tiny glimpses of miracles everyday in life; I am writing this blog as a way to keep track of the simple joys that God has given me in an ordinary day.

This one will be quick because my head and stomach currently only let me sit up for so long.

I have joked about this in the past, but I am starting to wonder why this is happening. Every October, Wes goes to at least one week-long class for work out of town. He went to one from the 7th to the 11th. during which Aiden was sick. Now, he is leaving tomorrow for a week. That is fine with me. I honestly enjoy the break. The problem is that for the past four years, since Abby was a baby, when Wes was gone in October, she, Aiden, or I have been horribly ill. Bingo. All three of us are very sick with some virus that I'd kick it's tail if it were tangible. So far, Aiden is down 4 pounds, Abby is down 3, and I am down 12. Even if we get better by Monday, it will take us the whole week to recover from it. I am starting to dread the entire month of October, seeing as we are 4 for 4. I know this isn't the most cheerful blog, but I seriously needed to vent and read my words since the Phenergan makes them a little swimmy in my mind. We will be fine, though. We always are!
