Blessings in a Simple Life
There are tiny glimpses of miracles everyday in life; I am writing this blog as a way to keep track of the simple joys that God has given me in an ordinary day.

This week will be crazy for me. I am getting very booked up with appointments at work, which I am so very thankful for. There have been many times that my business expenses have well surpassed my income, and that, in turn, usually caused doubts as to whether this truly is what I was meant to do. Now, though, I am so sure that the one and only gift God gave me is truly meant to be used through my self-employment. And yes, massage is my only talent. Anyway, back to this week...I am very busy with work, and I am supposed to house and beagle-sit for my parents some this week. My mom's beagles could cause a nun to swear, so I know I will be stressed taking care of them, the two cats, and my children at their log home out in the middle of no where, dealing with the black bears that keep coming to their house. I am tackling this week with very little sleep since Aiden is getting five new teeth in, too. Hurray for crazy lives! Please pray for my parents safety flying to FL on Thursday, and their safety driving home with my Oma in tote on Saturday. I just scanned some new pictures to share with everyone. I hope you enjoy them!

We have successfully driven 15 hours to FL, and 15 hours back with a three year old and a 17 month old. Yes, miracles still make their appearances in every day life! Wes, the A-Team, and I left on Sunday the 4th and returned Monday the 12th. No fits in the car, no whimpers or whines. Hurray! Will we do it again? Not any time soon. Beth's wedding went well. It was very pretty and it was nice to see so many people I haven't seen in four or more years. It made my entire trip worth it just to be able to hug Jenny, Doreen, Beth, and Sue. The Johns family were so sweet to give me the "Most Beautiful Bridesmaid Award". The picture above is me pretending to be a beauty queen! I did wear a bathing suit for the first time in 9 years, scary as it was, and even went out in public in it. It was a good trip on the whole, though there were some sad moments mixed in. Wes was happy he got to ride along with a K9 officer for Lee County Sheriff's Office one night while we were down. Abigail loved going to the beach for the first time. Aiden, however, is mommy's little mountain boy and was happy to come home. I took the kids to the park today and gave them a day just for the two of them so my going to work tomorrow wouldn't be too rough. I will post some pictures once I get them back!
